It is with great excitement and festive cheer that we announced our new Christmas event for all the family – Christmas at Airfield!
Once again we stepped back in time and celebrate all things seasonal in true Dickens style! Enjoying a marvelous array of Dickensian Christmas sights, smells and sounds, we transformed the Overend family home and gardens, returning it to the glories of its Christmas time yester-year.
As guests journeyed, they discovered Airfield’s charming gingerbread village; immersed themselves in the magic of our enchanted walled garden where Airfield’s fairies spend their Christmas; sat by the fireplace for a visit, story and gift from Father Christmas; explored Santa’s workshop, home & stable, and helped the elves as they make their own Victorian Christmas tree decorations.
Guests took a train ride to our farmyard to leave your Christmas wishes on Airfield’s Christmas wish-tree, and visit with Santa’s furry friends.
The Overend family’s maids and menservants were be on hand to guide our guests through their Victorian Christmas adventure. If they were very lucky indeed, Mr Dickens himself may happen by for a festive tête-à-tête!
So next year make sure and join the ladies, gentlemen, maids and menservants of Victorian Airfield and begin a wonderful new Christmas tradition suitable for the whole family to enjoy!
